The SteelSeries - Apex Pro retails at about $200 and it was first released back in early 2019. Even till this day the SteelSeries - Apex Pro is the only keyboard to ever feature a OLED display for customization for the keyboard. The reason why this keyboard is so special is because SteelSeries has added a new found technology called 'Omnipoint'. This allows the user to change the switches to whatever they desire by altercation of the magnets under each key cap as well as programming software that words hand in hand with the hardware. Usually when purchasing a keyboard people focus on the main thing and that is what key switches they have. The normal options like Cherry MX blue, red, brown, silver, speed, etc... are all options that vary between how they sound, feel, and the amount of pressure it takes for the user to use to push or activate a certain key; however, with this new Omnipoint technology you can customize the same keyboard to replicate whatever key pressure and feeling the user desires. This technology also allows each key to be programmed with whatever customization which completely changes the ball game and competition.
