Coronacation

Ever since school closed down along with everything else it was not a big deal at first; however, as time went on the feeling of emptiness started to surface. During the first two weeks of not being in school besides business' being closed down, everything felt pretty normal like it was some sort of vacation which no specified date when the vacation was going to end. There were some parents that were more strict than others, and for the ones that weren't strict with their kids at first hanging out everyday till the moon showed up everyday was amazing. As time went on and more news, statistics, and information was gained about the Covid-19 virus, the lenient parents became more scared. They were scared and terrified that if they continued the way they allowed entry in and out of the house that complications would appear within the families so their doors were no sealed closed. Closed of any entry or exit of such, only for necessities like grocery shopping. Now that i'm all alone with no humans in sight, I could only lean on one thing. Video games. Video games is fun and is possible the best thing there is to killing time and wasting your life in terms of trading in productivity for laziness and entertainment. Games are fun and all but they are the most fun when you know there is a point in time where there is a limit to how much you are able to game. When I talk about this limit im mentioning situations where you are in school night and you know you have to head to bed or else you would regret your choices the next morning. The reason why gaming is not as fun as compared to a school night because you know that you have all this time in our hands and if you do not stop yourself from playing games nothing else will and eventually you would burn out and lose all motivation to play the game. The sad part is that the next day would be exactly the same, rinse and recycling the same old content over, and over. The only way I would be able to live in a video game is if the industry was as complex as the movie "Ready Player One" where their Virtual Reality is on a whole other level of fun. Overall I am thankful for what I have because if this were to happen without the innovation if what we have now in-terms of games and entertainment I might as well lose my sanity and be placed in a mental hospital. This is a great time for me to look at everyday life and realize that I have been taking it for granted this whole time and that it is not always bad to take step back and appreciate the simple things in life. P.S. - Thank You and Stay Safe
